Solution Analysis: To engage
clients is the specification and design of our solutions as early as
possible. |

| The Three Stages of the Solid Process | ||||||
| Solid Overview | ||||||
| Aldiva has formulated a well-balanced methodology for concurrent development and sales of its software solutions. This methodology is called Solid and it is the cornerstone of our business model. Solid has several critical advantages. 1.
Product definition is in synergie with client requirements |
||||||
| The first step is to prepare and present an analysis of our solution to a client, emphasizing why the solution is technically unique and why it is commercially beneficial. We call this step Solution Analysis and execute it under a development contract. At the end of Solution Analysis phase, we have a tollgate (TG1) and we require quantification of technical uniqueness as well as commercial benefits before we proceed to a design contract. |
||||||
| The
second step is called Solution Design and its goals are to obtain feedback
from clients on product specifications, validate our design through
tools/simulations that are familiar to and acceptable to our clients,
and to enable us to propose business terms to clients for the delivery
of the final solutions. |
||||||
| Upon receiving purchase order for deployment of our solution developed in previous stages, we enter a phase during which we integrate the developed solution (TG3). Depending on the nature and scope of negotiations, we may require an upfront license fee to the recurring usage of the solution. This phase is much like custom software development and its practices are quite commonplace in the industry. This may range the implementation or porting of our software into the client's development platform (e.g. a microprocessor or digital signal processor chip) to developing bespoke software on high-end computers. |
